Objective:

Chief Executive Officer will implement and strengthen the vision and mission of the organisation , he/she will be responsible for the strategy development, organisational performance reporting, public awareness and stakeholder relationships, financial management and internal controls, legislative compliance and development of the people and culture of the organisation.

Minimum Requirements:

• An appropriate master’s degree preferably in business management and administration – equivalent to NQF Level 9 or higher.
• A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in an Executive management position – at least five years at a similar level of executive accountability.
• Experience in managing and leading executive portfolios.
• Proven track record in the development and implementation of strategy and policy aligned to the achievement of organisational objectives.
• Knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the Film and Publications Board, as well as legislation aimed at the protection of children.

Duration: 36 months contract position
