The incumbent will be responsible for selling non - COID solutions to Class IV and 

Class XIII, and understand the full value proposition and provide prospective clients with gap analysis and solutions.. 

Qualifications and Experience Required 


Professional / Tertiary minimum NQF5 Sales Industry Degree/Diploma (FFSB recognized qualification) 

RE5 (Representatives) non - negotiable and RE 1 (Key Individual) advantageous 

FAIS accredited 

Key areas of responsibility 

This is a senior role for a seasoned sales consultant with highly developed sales skills. 

Self - generate sales leads through networking, referrals and warm/cold calling. 

Manage business intelligence and business generated leads in a professional and timely manner. 

Build strong relationships with existing customers and new business prospects from initial call strategy, gaining their trust and respect. 

Attend prospect premises to undertake surveys and progress sale. 

Achieving high revenue sales targets. 

Sales oriented with strong influencing skills, to gain trust. 

Must be a self starter 

Knowledge, skills and competencies required 

At least 5 years’ senior level sales experience 

Ability to interact with C level executives 

Demonstrate a successful track record of sales achievement 

Strong sales experience in a business to business sales environment 

Appropriate experience in a customer facing environment 

Knowledge of health benefits (medical aid) and employee benefits (group life products)

Competitive in their approach to business 

Good communication skills with a direct manner 

Comfortable and able to act with authority 

Professional at all times 

Takes full accountability for performance and development 

Willingness to undertake irregular working hours 

Of smart appearance 

Networking with relevant groups 

Experience and additional competencies 

Demonstrate ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
