Minimum Requirements:

  • Business degree ; professional qualifications advantageous (e.g. CPP (Certified Process Professional) / 6 Sigma / CRISC)
  • 5+ years' functional experience with significant exposure to business process engineering
  • 2-3 years people management & leadership experience

Accurate, updated and integrated process repository that enables the function to achieve its strategic objectives

1.Process design is aligned to the bank's IT governance and architectural principles

2.Improved processes that deliver enhanced efficiencies, cost savings and customer experience

3.Improved systems utilisation

4.Satisfactory audits

Improved efficiencies

1.Process optimisation measured by, for example:

2.Application of lessons learnt

3.Improved cycle times

4.Reduced bottlenecks

5.Reduced number of controls

6.Improved control design

7.Updated book of work and tracked initiatives

Governance, risk and compliance management

1.Alignment of book of work to audit plan

Stakeholder relationship management

1.Productive relationships that facilitate the achievement of business goals

Management of Resources

1.Manage and develop subordinate(s).Performance management in terms of contracting, reviews and poor performers. Training and development. Employee relations

2.Manage people efficiencies through leave management, headcount budget, fixed term contracts, staff movements, secondments, staff utilization

3.Take appropriate disciplinary measures as required

4.Facilitate induction of new staff within one month of joining the organization
