Objective of the role
- Applies system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. Configures, analyses, designs, develops, and maintains in-house developed applications to support business processes and functions. Works on elements of large, complex installations. Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists with systems design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- At least 7 years' development experience using the Magic development platform; namely Desktop applications, Web applications (HTML Merge) and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL) - advantages
- Must be able to translate business specifications into a technical solution.
- Ability to work in a team, but also independently.
- Strong database skills including writing complex queries, stored procedures and views.
- Good understanding of ITIL framework - advantages.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in drafting technical documentations
