Value Engineering & Supply Lead

Objective & Purpose of Role:

  • Lead product cost reduction and supply‑chain optimisation by driving value engineering, strategic procurement, and inventory management, fully embedded in the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning driven production environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial) or similar technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing/industrial environments in roles such as cost/value engineering, strategic procurement, or supply‑chain/production planning.
  • Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (product costing, BOMs, purchasing, inventory).

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical and numerical ability; comfortable with detailed cost breakdowns and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Solid understanding of product costing, BOMs, routings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of supply‑chain and inventory principles (JIT, safety stock, EOQ, ABC).
  • Good technical grasp and the ability to contribute meaningfully to value‑engineering discussions.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder‑management skills across Engineering, Production, Finance and IT.
