Service Technician
The role is responsible for delivering support to internal & external clients ensuring operational excellence across service delivery, technical coordination and administrative functions. The role is based in Benoni.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Testing batteries charger and UPS
- Site charger repairs
- Commissioning of battery chargers on site
- Perform maintenance & commissioning activities
- Testing of PCB Card to component level
- On site fault finding and repair work
- Technical investigations and site audits
- Telephonical and on site support to customers
- Site supervision for third party contractors
- Site documentation and reports
- Technical investigations and quality control
- Build and maintain relationship with internal & external customers.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A diploma or degree or suitable qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Three (3) years suitable experience in a similar role
- Valid code C driver's licence
- Experience in the service sector in the energy industry is necessary
- Candidate must be willing to travelling locally & internationally.
- The incumbent must be able to work without supervision
- He/She must be able to work under pressure and long hours
- Must be great at communication and also with good interpersonal skills.
