Electrical Design Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, multilayer PCBs, and power electronic systems.
  • Develop Battery Management Systems (BMS) and DC-DC power conversion solutions.
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Gerber files, and technical documentation.
  • Design mixed-signal electronic systems incorporating analogue, digital, and power electronics.
  • Perform circuit design calculations, component selection, thermal analysis, and efficiency optimization.
  • Develop and execute prototype testing, validation, debugging, and performance verification.
  • Conduct functional, thermal, reliability, and environmental testing of electronic hardware.
  • Troubleshoot design issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement engineering improvements.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Support prototype assembly, production release, product certification, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical, safety, EMC, and quality standards.
  • Participate in design reviews, technical risk assessments, and continuous product improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronical Engineering, Electrical and Electronical Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Additional training in power electronics, battery systems, or embedded hardware design would be beneficial. 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in electronic product development. 
  • Proven experience designing and testing complex PCB assemblies.
  • Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS), battery energy storage systems, or renewable energy products.
  • Experience supports products from consent through production release.
