Temporary Bus Drivers

Purpose:

Great North Transport, a leading passenger transport service provider in the Limpopo Province invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following challenging position at Great North Transport. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10
• Driver licence (code EC and PDP)
• Five years hands on Bus driving experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The main responsibility is to get passengers to their destination safely and on time.

    Other activities:

• Conducting pre and post route inspections of vehicles.
• Follow traffic laws and employer safety rules while driving.
• Collecting fares from passengers.
• Assisting passenger who need help getting on and off the bus.
• Remaining in communication with dispatcher throughout a shift.
• Completing paperwork to report accidents, vehicle problems and other issues.
• Cleaning the bus interior as needed.
• Answering questions about bus routes, transfers, stops and fares.

Preference will be given to GNT Ex – Bus Drivers who was resigned and exited the employment through the process of Voluntary Severance Package
