Purpose

This role will responsible for all daily and general duties of the Commercial Administrator.

Minimum requirements

  • Relevant qualification.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and several ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of projects.
  • 3-5 years experience in the manufacturing/ engineering environment.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms 2010 and a good understanding of import and export regulations.
  • Knowledge of NEC and Fidic commercial terms.
  • Knowledge of Syspro, Excel and Microsoft word. 
  • Contract price adjustment calculations (SEIFSA).

Main duties

  • Carefully read and examine the commercial terms of tender documents (NEC, Fidic and customer specific terms and conditions).
  • Request commercial and technical clarification from the customer (if needed).
  • Attend tender clarification meetings.
  • Regularly check tender bulletins / websites for additional or amended documents issued.
  • Liaise with departments internal to the company Group on requirements in the tender documents (SHEQ, Accounts).
  • Manage the company's Group's risk with appropriate response to tender terms and conditions.
  • Generate (ender vet documentation in accordance with the company's procedures.
  • Verify the financial aspect of the tender ensuring the Static Group's profitability.
  • Attend Tender Vet meetings with the company Centre on an as and when basis.
  • Keep electronic records of all approved tender vets.
  • Negotiate and conclude terms and conditions with the customer on receipt of an order / contract.
  • Assist with the completion and updating of Vendor applications.
  • Attend Project meetings when requested to do so.
  • Generate contracts and documents on request from the sales team.
  • Assist sales team with any additional administrative tasks.
  • Download SEIFSA tables monthly.
