Ethics Manager: Audit Tracking and Oversight

Purpose:

Our client is looking for a candidate that will fill in a ethics management and audit tracking & oversight role. The candidate will focus on  evaluating the company's use of ethics and codes of conduct,  conducting an ethical audit and by reviewing the company policies.

Minimum requirements 

• Relevant Degree in (Business, Accounting, or another business major). 
• Must have relevant certification / accreditation by the Institute of Internal Auditors SA and/or Ethics Institute South Africa or the South African Institute of Professional Accontants.
• A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy.

Main Duties

The services would encompass but not limited to: 

• Ethics management and the ethics office. 
• Ethics risk assessment.
• The ethics strategy and management / implementation plans. 
• Codes of Ethics or Ethics Policies.
• Institutionalisation / embedding ethical culture.
• Ethics reporting and auditing. 
• Engagements with internal and external auditors to determine / refine scope of engagement.
• Engaging owners / end-users of each audit finding determined by both the auditor general / external auditors and the internal auditors. 

Location : JHB

Duration: 6 months contract.
