Financial Accountant (Credit)

Purpose

Managing the relevant part of Finance department, producing relevant financial information compliant with internal and external reporting requirements, producing interim and annual financial statements compliant with IFRS, JSE and other requirements.

Minimum requirements

• BCom (Accounting).
• CA(SA) and/or completed articles.
• 2-3 years relevant experience.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS 9, Income Tax Act and VAT Act.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel, Accpac/SAGE and Exactus.
• Companies Act, King IV and other corporate governance frameworks’ requirements.
• SQL.

Main duties

• Financial Accounting and reporting.
• Monthly/interim/annual reporting.
• Accounting: Advances and revenue related to advances.
• Project and systems management.
• Personnel management.
• Treating Customers Fairly and Compliance.
