Head Planner

Purpose

Our client is looking for a candidate that will fill  in head planner role. The candidates will ensure planning of raw material and production capacity is effectively implemented, monitored and continuously improved. 

Minimum requirements 

• The individual must be trained and hold a degree or diploma in manufacturing or engineering
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in a plant with 50 or more machinery equipment.
• Experience within the automotive industry will be an advantage. 
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Main Duties

• Management or supervision of employees.
• Inventory investigation skills.
• Report writing.
• Capacity planning, prioritising planning, raw material planning and systems / process improvements.
• Continuous improvements.
• WIP management.
• Stock Take.
• Skills and knowledge on the concept of quality assurance within the manufacturing environment.
