Purpose

To provide administrative support to the learning and development team in implementation of the skills development plan as well as projects related to the learning and development strategy.

Minimum requirements

  • Relevant Diploma.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • 2 years project administration experience. 
  • 3-5 years’ experience as an administrator.
  • Experience with dealing with training service providers.
  • Experience with working with preparing quotes and invoicing.
  • Experience within a training environment or an HR background.

Main duties

  • Coordinate learning interventions as per the prevailing the company's training plan, including sourcing of interventions and liaising with both training providers and delegates.
  • Administration, including sourcing quotations, following up, requesting invoices, completion of booking/registration forms.
  • Preparation of learning and development documentation (skills forms) for signature by Talent Development Manager.
  • Assist the SDF in the reports required by FASSET for submission.
  • Raise requisitions for training.
  • Liaising with Finance and SCM division in respect of issuing Purchase Orders. 
  • Maintain the training calendar and ensure execution.
  • Schedule all learning interventions with the learners.
  • Processing of study assistance/ bursaries.
  • Filing and capturing of all L&D related records on Sage 300 and the L&D Database.
  • Provide general administrative support service for all L&D projects.
  • Provide a full administrative service for project meetings and workshops.
  • Managing room bookings.
  •  Catering.
  • Facilities and IT requirements.
  • Take meeting minutes and notes as required.
  • Keep register of all events and attendance thereof.
  • Office support.

  • 6 Months contract.
