Production Supervisor

Purpose

To supervise the employees, ensure that production targets are met, maintaining the necessary safety precautions and ensure that good quality parts are produced.

Minimum requirements

• Qualification in engineering or diploma/ Certificate in Production Management and or Supervisory qualification.
• 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisory position in steel a (tube making) production environment.
• Experience in Mills operating machines would be an advantage.
• Experience within the automotive will be an advantage.
• Working Shift and overtime.

Main duties

• Understand the principles and have experience of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TS 16949 standards implementation.
• Supervision of employees.
• Maintain and implement discipline.
• Capacity Planning i.e. Ensuring all machines are utilised and production plan is followed to meet production targets.
• Ensure quality Assurance.
• Continues improvements.
• Implement and monitor health, safety and Environment in the plant.
