Purpose:

Our client is looking for a candidate that will be responsible for evaluating the company's processes and procedures, ensuring that everything adheres to the internal guidelines and state regulations. Writing reports of observational findings, conducting audits on policies, and taking disciplinary actions for violations.

Minimum requirements

  •  Relevant Degree in Accounting, or Law, or Business, or Finance.
  • Must have relevant ISO or Business Continuity Institute Certification / accreditation.
  • A minimum of 8 years' relevant experience.
  • Computer Literacy.

Main Duties 

The services would encompass but not limited to:  

  • Prudential compliance management - financial reporting – interphasing with finance / risk management. 
  • Market conduct compliance management – interphasing with product / service dept, e.g. research office. 
  • Systematic / ripple-effect compliance management – interphasing with Industry, DME, region. 
  • Pro-actively monitor and engage with policy developers, enforcement agencies and regulatory / supervisory bodies.
  • Identify and train unit compliance champions 
  • Develop, review and monitor implementation of the relevant compliance instruments such as: 
  • Compliance universe.
  • Compliance charter / policy.
  • Compliance risk management plans.
  • Reporting to external regulatory / funding bodies.

Location : JHB

Duration: 6 months contract.
