Senior Financial Analyst (Direct Marketing)

Purpose:

To provide operational and strategic analytical input to support the design and implementation of the Direct Marketing function.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc or B Com quantitative sciences.
• 5 years’ experience in a financial analytical environment
• Knowledge of processes and industry of financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Office Suite.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with initiating activities to generate new and improved leads as well as optimizing the output of generated leads.
• Implement approved direct marketing campaigns as per the stipulated guidelines and processes as well as utilizing  and analyzing the data to identify new campaigns and pockets of opportunity
• Prepare a written report of findings for distribution to direct manager for final approval and liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain insight to anomalies.
• Writing the appropriate specifications needed to implement a change process or recommendation after obtaining the necessary approval from the Credit committee.
• Identify and resolve compliance or risk issues in the direct marketing processes.
• Ensure adherence to set out standard operating procedures and policies
• Provide ad-hoc assistance where necessary.
• Continuously develop sales, interpersonal, self-management and EQ qualities and capabilities in the team.
• Continuous learning on company techniques, products, processes, policies and procedures.
