Main Purpose:

  • Responsible for Organisational Development Interventions, Performance management system implementation, OD process execution as well as transitioning and management of change.

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources is essential.
  • Honours degree in Industrial Psychology – desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in an Organizational Development and Training role and experience in job evaluation process.
  • Six (6) years general Human Resources experience is important.
  • Registered member of HPCSA as Psychometrist.
  • Valid Driver’s licence.
  • Computer skills (MS Office, SAP).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to business improvement initiatives through diagnostic support and facilitation.
  • Managing the job evaluation process, which forms the foundation for fair remuneration.
  • Serving as the Performance management facilitator and system administrator. 
  • Organisational Capacity building in the related areas (e.g. coaching support to mentors and coaches).
  • Monitoring and reporting on initiatives and programmes in the OD and talent space.
  • Partnering with Training & Development Department in execution of talent programmes.
  • Facilitating culture change and embedment initiatives.
  • Co-ordinate the roll out of Performance management system models in relation to Succession Planning, 360 Reviews, Performance Management, Goal Management, Continuous Performance Management.
  • Ensure that the integrated HR Management System is fit for purpose. • Define steady state blueprint (infrastructure & assets).
  • Determine gap between current workforce and future workforce requirements. Functional vs geographical resource allocation, Current skills vs required skills. Target positions with greatest impact – pivotal roles.
  • Determine the gap between the future and the current situation with regard to the selected talent segment.
  • Labour Count vs Labour Costs.
  • Benchmark against industry best practice.
  • Providing management of change support to business initiatives.
