Purpose

The toolmaker is responsible for making tools according to stipulated specifications. This individual will also be responsible for assessing produced tools to assess if the tools match the stipulated specifications.

Minimum requirements

• Tool maker certificate.
• 2-3 years experience as a toolmaker in manufacturing environment,

Main duties

• Operate and maintain the Kardex storing system.
• Responsible for calculating and checking the dimensions, shapes and application guidelines of tools.
• Polishing the surfaces of tools.
• Testing finished tools to verify that the tools match the stipulated specifications.
